Easy access to this parking-lot campground with fairly level spaces. It's kinda a fend-for-yourself parking situation as the spaces aren't marked. If you want a fire ring, pull up next to one. This place is usually busy in the winter, but fairly uncrowded in September. I have AT&T; connectivity is great! Beautiful rocky hill-mountains and clear skies. Road noise diminishes later in the evening.

It’s awesome that this place is free, available, and gorgeous. Although, it is really hot most of the year and difficult to sleep here, so I don’t know how often the conditions allow for camping (as I wimped out and got a hotel). While I was there, there were only 2 other cars. I did not have coverage through T-mobile and it was a bit difficult to find a flat spot. There are no bathrooms, but the Love’s gas station is 10 minutes away by car and offers an $18 shower if you need it. Havasu, AZ is also about 15 minutes away if you need to get other materials.

Nice big parking lot style blm boondocking spot just north of Lake Havasu City..

This is a great sunset viewing place. Nice and quiet at night too. No amenities, so people have left a lot of trash around that get blown all over with the wind. It’s basically a huge parking lot with a few level spaces to park any size rig, park a car etc. ATVs come thru pretty slow and polite ( so far) and it seems a safe space if you happen to camp alone. Rangers come thru 2-3 times a day and seem to keep track of what’s going on . Hiway is close by but noise levels are minimal. It’s free for up to two weeks to park and camp.

We thoroughly enjoyed camping here. We found it easy to get a level spot even though there were 40 to 60 units there at any one time. There are trails to explore on foot or in your ATV. Cell phone and TV reception was good. John, the camp host, was pleasant and helpful.
