Leelanau Chalets and Vacation Rentals Up North

Miller's Landing was a beautiful, spacious home and newly updated rec room and bathrooms. Kitchen was also perfect and well-equipped. The views on Lake Leelanau were amazing and enjoyed having breakfast on the outside deck area with plenty of seating! We also enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards. Also, the home was equipped with plenty of life jackets too. Connie with Leelanau Chalets was also very helpful to work with! We will definitely be back!

We stayed at the Loft in Suttons Bay. Such a beautiful town and loved the location! Just walk down the stairs into the adorable small town and the beach right across the street. The Loft was quant and quite spacious. We were concerned before we arrived that it was above a retail store. We thought perhaps that we would hear people below us all day. That was not the case at all. Very private entrance in the back and stairway. We never heard anyone. Bonus! Adorable little kitchen and space. Retro and it was perfect for our weekend getaway.

I booked one of their properties, though I ended up canceling the reservation so this is a review of Leelanau Chalets only - not any specific property they manage. I was disappointed in this company's communication and attention to detail. I worked with Connie, and she took days, sometimes over a week to respond - and on occasion only after I followed up a second time. She almost appeared to be on auto-pilot sometimes, not really addressing my exact question but instead giving somewhat of a stock reply or indirect answer which was rather frustrating. Her replies were also very short and came across as curt. I've stayed in my fair share of rentals over the years and sadly this is the worst property manager I've come across so far. This place leaves their best places as showing available on VRBO but, they are not. When submit to book a place that shows availalble they call or email you with a "the site isn't updated sorry but, I have this other place..." the other place is never as nice as what you were looking at initially. In my opinion they are using the nice places and leaving them as "available" so when people call they can then pitch people the places that are leftovers. I emailed on 3 different places available on VRBO and NONE were actually available but, Connie always had a back up to pitch me that wasn't as good. FURIOUS. Avoid this company.

Everything was as advertised. Clean, convenient & welcoming. Would recommend staying here & enjoying this beautiful town.
