Leaning Pines Campground and Cabins

We thought this place was great and we’d love to return! The location is fairly remote but that was perfect for us. But then again it’s only 20 minutes from a very cool little town called Sylvania. It’s quiet and peaceful.

We were a little dubious as we drove down the mile and a half dirt road to the campground, as we went, we sang the theme song to deliverance. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner and the family that owns the campground could not be nicer. The campground bathroom was clean and warm in the morning. as we were leaving one of our fellow campers, gave us two hot fresh sourdough cinnamon rolls which were delicious! A nice quiet place with a good dash of southern hospitality!

What a really cool place back in the woods. The road less traveled led us to this gem 💎. Awesome folks, great little cabins. Pretty friendly with a beautiful view. Worth the trip.

We loved everything about our stay! We went on Fourth of July weekend to get away from the noise and fireworks. It was exactly the peaceful and beautiful place we needed. AC worked, WiFi worked, kitchen was perfect, bbq was awesome and we got the rest we were looking for. Definitely will come back!

Spacious room. Very nice host. We pulled in on Thanksgiving day and a group was eating Thanksgiving dinner,we were invited to eat with them which was so nice of them . Since we just pulled up we were very tired so we declined. The best part of staying here was at night,not a streetlight to be seen ,no light pollution at all. We could here a pin drop that's how quite it was. I recommend this place if your looking for a good night sleep. They also have cabins which I did not go in but they look inviteable .
