Lazy Bear Chalet

We stayed here from 3/6/21 to 3/10/21. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Owner is VERY responsive and everything was great. There was an issue with the gas fire and, after trying to help us trouble shoot a tech arrived and fixed it within an hour or so. We like the fact it is near everything...and is still uniquely set back to offer privacy and seclusion.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I left a 3 star review on VRBO about the property needing some updates. The bathtub upstairs leaked into the 2nd floor bathroom and the cabin smells of mildew. The carpet in the basement is disgusting and I was told by the owner to dump our garbage at a gas station in town! I was not happy with the stay and simply said that I would not be staying in the future. In response, I just received an incredibly offensive email from the owner about my review! He was unkind and unprofessional in the email! If I could post a screen shot I would! The cabin is not worth the price, do not waste your money! There are so many other options and I wish we would have stayed elsewhere! I wish it were possible to post a copy of his email for all to see! Unacceptable!

We were very disappointed in our cabin and the service. We rented during Memorial Day weekend and the BBQ pit (gas) was “out of order.” 2 small trash cans for the entire week and they were not emptied during the week and the owners told us we to bring trash to gas station, hot tub didn’t work, and upstair shower leaked to the lower level bathroom. We were not secluded, but in the middle of a subdivision. Very disappointed. The cabin was clean, however, there were spider webs in corners where there home decor.

It's ok. Was expecting a more secluded area and a better view but essentially this is just a nice neighborhood in a "mountainous" area, and not exactly an great mountain view. The home was trashed when we arrived at the 4pm check in time, we had to wait for them to finish cleaning up the place and we didn't officially get to enter till close to 5:20 pm. There's only one king size bed which is in the master bed. But, it'll do for a weekend getaway. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area.

Memorable vacation. Our family was comfortable and Tim is a gem of a host. Truly remarkable and peaceful cabin with the perfect blend of tranquility and yet close proximity to the activities in Pigeon Forge.
