I stayed in the Laurel Studios at the Isha Institute, and the experience left a lasting impression. The name "Laurel" struck a personal chord with me, tied to someone I once loved. That feeling has passed, but the peaceful energy of the space stayed with me. As an interior designer, I immediately appreciated the thoughtful flooring it’s rare to find a surface that feels this comfortable even without a mat. Doing Surya Kriya here was a joy. The floors had a subtle softness that made the whole practice easier on my knees and joints, allowing me to go deeper without distraction. You can tell this space was designed for yoga.
