Landmark Resort, Door County

Nice place. We had a 2 bedroom 1 bath and for 4 people it was more then enough room. Rooms were clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. We weren't able to use all the amenities. But they looked very well kept.

Newly updated one bedroom with walk in shower, fully stocked kitchen, and even a drawer full of DVDs to use in the player provided. Winter travel so the indoor hot tub and sauna were an added bonus and very well maintained.

We like the location because it's off the beaten path. We didn't use any services so we can't rate that. We liked our suite very much. It was clean and comfortable. It had a fully stocked kitchen with dishes and pans which helped us very much since we both have dietary issues which makes it a challenge to try and eat out. It had a dinette table and chairs which was also very helpful. We visited in the off season and it was a nice and relaxing stay.

Would not recommend. 24hr pool is in a different building you will have to walk or drive over. Check in was difficult. Received confirmation email and online check in. Which did not work. Each building has a lobby with no one in it. Website states check in is the Carrington bldg but when you drive to that building it's being renovated. So check in is where the 24hr pool. 4 cars behind us were looking for the sane place (Change your website) paid more money for a view the view was a covered pool. The building are a little run down. They are little condo apts that are owned by other people and the landmark is the management. The door was hard to shut and had a door knocker on it that's loud every time you open or close the door it would make noise. Not worth the price.

I've only gone in off season. Great views. Wooded location. Short drive to get to restaurants and shops. Nothing is walking distance. Furnishings were a bit dated in our unit including a table with edges that sloped so much dishes slid off. Hot tub was clean and hot. Fireplace in the main area didn't work. Overall good spot for a winter get away.
