Lander Lodging

We stayed there with my sister and her family. Great little space to crash an make day trips from! The bathroom had a MASSIVE walk in shower with shower heads on the wall to accommodate a 2nd person if desired. There was a microwave and I think a stove top burner or two... but no oven. There is a tight short spiral staircase to the front door, that makes carrying in anything larger that small backpack difficult. Entrance is on side of house, and not lit... so arriving very late like we did was not optimal... Lots of irrigation overspray, don't leave your windows down. Great place, look forward to returning.

Nice place and location is great. We spent the first 2 days trying to figure out what all the switch plates do, but other than that, awesome place to stay. lol I would recommend adding some stepping stones to the stairs, and by all means, if you're going out at night don't return until after 10:40 pm. You'll have to run through the lawn sprinklers that go off every night at 8.

My family and I have been visiting/staying here for three years now and we are always so sad to leave! Don and Laurel are so down to earth and caring, such wonderful hosts! I love being able to be right on the ranch and be able to adventure around. Don is great and let’s you hang out with their horses, ponies, kittens, cows, etc! Just ask! I really appreciate the time they put into to get to know you, you can tell that they really care! The location is in the perfect spot just a couple minutes from down town Lander, and about 10 minutes from Sinks Canyon State Park! It really feels like home and is comfortable and peaceful.

Lovely place for a get-away. My husband and I enjoyed a peaceful overnight in the Mountain Suite (check their website) to get some alone time. The rooms were lovely and the place was clean and quiet. I LOVED the bathroom's amazing shower – it's huge! And while we didn't need it, I liked having the kitchen available too. Even though it was just two of us, I kept thinking it would be a fun way to travel with kids. Because the bedrooms were all off of the main living area, it would allow mom and dad a little space and comfortably fit four kids. The whole suite is arranged similar to a small home with one entrance to the rest of the house and another to the a porch outside. This made coming and going easy. We really enjoyed our stay and I'd definitely recommend Lander Lodging to a friend!

We stayed one night last week at Lander Lodge. Due to traffic we arrived late (almost 9) but Laural and Don were very accommodating. And let us know we had to hurry to find an open restaurant (OK things close early in Lander!). We ate at the Thai Chef - what a wonderful surprise in rural Wyoming. It was a quiet night, but in the morning we had a lovely breakfast with Laural and Don, and they catered beautifully to my vegan wife. (And I liked the breakfast smoothie too!). they were great company for our first night/morning in Wyoming. The downstairs where the bedrooms are is spacious (we were the only ones there) and the walk out back was lovely in the morning. Yes, the bedrooms are a bit dark for my liking, but that is a very minor complaint. Still five stars.
