LAMESA MOTEL

While passing through (heading East) late one day, we looked at the map & seen that there probably were not going to be too many places to stay. Especially pet friendly type. We stopped @ the front and found a contact phone number on the "office" door, which we proceeded to call. Our phone call was answered quickly & pleasantly. After a little bit of a wait, we were given a very nice room with 2 beds, microwave, small refrigerator, & flat screen TV. The room was clean & comfortable. Wi-Fi worked well. We were $5 for our 2 small dogs (with what I could live with). Room was up to date. If you would like the blow dryer & coffee pots ( - all those modern expensive convenience items) I recommend locating a Holiday Inn. For a nice comfortable, & reasonably priced stay I recommend stopping here!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would! Great place to stay. I unfortunately had an accident and needed somewhere to stay while figuring out what to do with our car. The owners were extremely kind and gracious in ensuring our family was safe and comfortable for the evening. The rooms are very nice and super clean. Truly a wonderful stay for a great price with the customer service to match.

This place is small and looks sketchy from the outside. However….. the parking is enclosed, it is very well lit. Small parking area, but doable .Park at ur door, a big plus! I love there are two separate rooms and both beds have a tv and a door to the restroom. Very clean, very comfortable . The young lady on site was extremely accommodating and super friendly. The manager even called after our check in and asked if we needed anything, if we were comfortable etc. I appreciated that! A few things to think about tho, there is no electrical outlet in the bathroom, that’s needed in case someone brings in their own blow dryer, curling iron etc. No rugs, the floor was ice cold, it was cold that night. Wasn't expecting much from this little town, stopped in for a night stay to get some rest. Rooms are surprisingly nice and provide plenty of basic amenities like full fridge, cable TV, microwave, etc. Tile flooring instead of carpet which is a plus. Beds are comfortable. They are dog friendly which is a huge plus as well. The rates were extremely cheap for the night. Security cameras everywhere. Really not a bad stop. It's no four star hotel but for what it is, can't complain.

Owners were great. Had to call but had a clerk at motel immediately. Motel is older but nice enough. Needs some refreshing, especially bathrooms. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Staff tried to make you feel like family. There was another group here being loud and enjoying them selves. Staff had them tune it down and there was no issues. Felt like I stayed at friends house on the weekend.
