Lakeside Motel

I do not know where the other reviewers stayed that rated it high because it wasn't here. The price is good and they don't require a card to hold the room. The deposit was given back in cash. The room... good lord. It was out dated, dirty, the bed was lumpy, the carpet was horrible AND had a huge spot that just sunk into the ground. It smelled wet and old. The shower pressure was next to nothing and what little warm water there was took 10-15 minuets to heat. I did not have the courage to take off my shoes inside the room. It did have a mini fridge and microwave but they were mismatched and looked like hand me downs. The people were not very welcoming but did accept us arriving a day early... there is a similarly priced hotel called sand and sage and i didn't try it but I wish I did. I wis

Room was very clean and comfortable. I had a really late check-in, and the gentleman was immediately at the window. I would stay there again for sure! It was also very quiet. The surrounding area and businesses were also very well kept, and I felt totally safe.

I felt like I was in the 50s Motel but it was clean and the lady at the front was nice, and understandable of my needs. I was just driving through town & in need of a bed for the night. It might be very old, plus in need of TLC. Although it has a refrigerator, microwave and a coffee machine, 👌 clean white towels, and comfy clean white sheets. I was pleasantly surprised.

I was living there about 6 years ago, and the ppl who own it were more than fair and helpful to me, even giving me a leeway of a day or 2 to get rent situated. They weren't in any way obligated to do that. The room had a nice comfortable queen bed with a flat-screen TV on a swivel so it could be moved. The shower was a little cramped, but the water was hot! You couldn't ask for more, especially with the price.

Our apartment flooded and we needed somewhere fast and fair priced.. Lakeside was the spot!! Priced really fair for our 2 full sized beds with a kitchenette. The 2 lovely people who checked me in were so nice!! It was very quiet and I felt safe(big deal-i had 2 kids with me)!! Will highly recommend to anyone who asks me!! Looks can be very deceiving... They are so nice there!!
