Great place for a vacation. Cabins are clean and well stocked. There's charcoal grills available for cooking as well as a stove top in the cabin. You can take a rowboat out on the lake, swim in the lake, relax on the sandy beach and build a fire in the fire pit at night. Close to Lake George and other area attractions. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved Lakeside Cottage Rentals and had an amazing time. Beautiful Lake views and a great beach. It was very relaxing just what we needed, and the best part is our kids loved it. We met some nice people around the campfire and the kids made some new friends. My kids loved using the free boats and my little one caught his first fish. The owners were very helpful and answered all our questions. We cannot wait to come back again!

We just returned from out 1st week stay and what a gorgeous setting! There are only 8 cottages, all a matter of feet from the clean sandy private beach. And the lake is so peaceful, we enjoyed fishing, catching several pan fish and a perch. We enjoyed using the row boats and kayak provided. The cabins are clean, well insulated from outside noise and we loved the deck in front, perfect for coffee in the morning. George the owner was so accommodating and obviously wants guests to be happy and relaxed in their stay. We'll be going back for sure!

It’s the end of another great summer and I just got a chance to write this review. My family and I stayed at Lakeside Cottages this summer. It’s the first time we’ve been to the Lake George area and we had an amazing trip. From the moment we checked in the owners answered all our questions. They gave us tip sheets on restaurants, shopping and even helped us plan our days. We went White Water Rafting, Horseback Ridding, Great Escapes, Mini Golf and a lot more all within minutes of Lakeside. We stayed in cottage #7 with our kids and my parents stayed in a smaller cottage next door #6. Both of them were great with hardwood floors and wood ceilings, very clean. Lake Vanare was beautiful and the sandy beach was only a few feet from our cottages. My kids fished and used all the boats at

We just got back from another great year at Lakeside Cottages. We have been going there for the past six years with a group and this year was amazing. The adults hung out on the beautiful clean beach while the younger children play in the crystal clear water. The older children kept themselves busy fishing on the boats and spent most of the day on the paddleboats. Everthing was just right. Thanks Again for a wonderful vacation!!!
