Lake Vanare Cabins

Lake Vanare Cabins is such a great family vacation spot. The owners are wonderful. Cabins super clean and come with everything you’d need and if you don’t have something , just ask the owner! The beach is great, along with the big pavilion full of seating and activities. There is a nice dock with canoes and rowboats. The cabins are also a short drive away from lake George so if it rains or you want to do something different, it’s easy to jump in the car and get into town. Last year was our first year staying here after years if searching for something just like this! We will be there next month and we are all looking forward to it!

Best place we have ever stayed. Just few minutes away to Lake George from this place. And there are lots of water activities in the area. Bob and his family is so warm and welcoming. They are wonderful hosts. They will make you feel comfortable. Cabins are so cozy. Clean and well maintained. There is a beautiful lake with lots of fishes and turtles, you can boat and fish. There’s also a small beach, tennis court and ping pong table. Lake Vanare Cabins is the best place to stay if you want a peaceful stay closer to nature. Loved every moment of the stay. Will definitely comeback next summer.

This August was my 2nd trip to Lake Vanare Cabins. The host Bob has always been kind and accommodating when it came to making and switching reservations. He's been a pleasure to deal with! (Shout to Marlow the dog, he's a pleasure to deal with also) ||||The cabin is nice, but it is rustic woods style. The first year it was a bit of a shock for me coming from hotels I usually stay in. It grew on me fast. The cabin was clean, there were no bugs that we saw so that was great. Lack of AC wasn't usually an issue (very few rooms have it in these cabins, which usually is fine anyway)||||Amenities are nice as well. Sandy beach area with a dock for the kids and adults. We stayed in cabin 11 and my sister stayed in cabin 9. The cabins are cute, and come with everything you need. They could use a little updating but that didn't bother us. The property is well taken care of, quite & has some activities to do right there if you don't want to drive 10 minutes to lake George. Overall we had a great stay and will be back next year!
