Lakeshore Motel Ice Lake

Lakeshore Motel is a charming place along Ice Lake. Owners Mike & Bonnie are most friendly and welcoming. Slightly older motel with notty-pine rooms, clean, and parking right in front of your room. A family style place, very comforting. Their breakfast is modest, yet organic yogurt, fruit juices, bananas. Pricing may be $30 less than other motels in the area. I'd return in any season of the year.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lakeshore Motel Ice Lake! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that gave the place a true hometown feel. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.||The rooms are beautifully maintained—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated with a cozy charm that instantly makes you feel at home. Our bed was incredibly comfortable, and after a long day of exploring the area, it was the perfect place to rest and recharge.

The sweetest people, peaceful environment, and affordable. They actually listen to you and try to help you out. I am so grateful and would recommend them to anyone. Also they take good care of the place, so if anyone is worried about that, everything is clean. They even have random rags that can be used for anything.

We had room 32 for a week and the service was great! Mike, Bonnie and the rest of the staff were very friendly and courteous. We are in the middle of a move to the area so we will be staying there again very soon! We definitely recommend this place! It's cozy and quiet.

A great local motel! Set on beautiful Ice Lake in Iron River MI, the Lakeshore is my go-to motel for my regular ski trips every winter. It's about 10 miles from Ski Brule and 2 minutes from Iron River, a grocery store, restaurants and a fantastic coffee shop. The rooms are rustic, up north style, and have a frig and microwave. Bonnie and Mike are so friendly and helpful!
