Iron Inn Motel, LLC

This place was not a great place to stay. The mattresses are old and stained super bad (I didn't notice that till we were leaving). The motel room smelled horrible. The room/bathroom hadn't been cleaned very well. We were discussed with the upkeep. But for as cheap as it was...seemed fitting to be in that shape. Has great potential if they were to update their rooms. The Lady at the nearby hotel even said it was "nice". I'm not sure about the other rooms, but the room we were in, most definitely not. People there however, were very nice.

My first visit to Iron River. The motel was clean and very convenient. It is in a pretty and historic district. Anthony the owner is a great host and knows all there is to know about community history. The charming downtown shops and cafe are just a block or two away. I look forward to staying at the Iron Inn Motel again!

We were new to the area so we picked this motel because we didn't know what else was around. The place was DIRTY! Carpet was dirty, wallpaper peeled off the wall, looked like the heater/air hadn't been cleaned in years, unfriendly owner,couldn't even sweep the gravel and dirt off the steps and worst of all, all the smoke alarms in the entire motel were non-working. The pictures make the place look a lot better than it really was. What a dive!

No idea why this hotel has bad ratings, maybe the old owners sucked. As it stands today this is the nicest $50 hotel room you will find. Especially in Iron River. The Iron Inn is $30 less than the next most expensive hotel and provides a cleaner room with more amenities (fridge, 2 beds, wall mounted flat screen tv). Yes the bathroom and carpet have seen better days but a $50 hotel room that has no scent of cigarette smoke exceeds expectations before looking at the amenities of the Iron Inn. A+ establishment that i recommend to any passerthrough of Iron County. It's Crazy how clean and nice this room is given that I only spent $50 on it. Old. Dirty. Smells bad. Carpet old and stained well beyond anything that cleaning could fix. Sheets thin and worn. Cigarette burns in various places Stained ceiling tiles. Cobwebs. My advice is find a different place if possible. You don't want to stay here
