Lake Pepin Campgrounds & Trailer

We got a great spot with plenty of area. 2 bathrooms which were decent. 4 stars mainly because I felt the person on the phone was somewhat rude the first time I called.

We loved our stay at the Lake Pepin Campground in Lake City, MN! First, this campground is situated conveniently right off the main road, with a view of lake pepin. Even being right off the main road, we didn't feel like the traffic noise was too bad aside from the occasional semi and train at night. The campsite is within walking distance of downtown (about 1.5 mile walk), and there is a nice restaurant just across the street. The campground has a nice little park that my toddler enjoyed. Perhaps the best part about this campground, and the reason we WILL be back, is the friendly owners and staff, particularly Merri! We have been coming to this campground for a lot of years. Some of the sitrs front the highway so the is traffic noise. Good access to the lake. You will have to trailer your boat as there are no docks. There is slip in the city marina that are available.

We stayed here just one night as we were passing through. Now we wish we would have stayed longer. The front office lady showed TONS of personality, helpfulness and just all around cared about our experience. She put us in a full hook up 50A site even though we only wanted sewer/water. She did that so we didn't have to unhook our car. We will be back, Thank you for your hospitality, looking forward to our next visit.

Nice campground near the water. I would have preferred one of the higher unit instead of the lower units because they have a better view and are easier to back into. With the site we had, the site was small for our setup, and we could not use the fire ring when our truck was parked.
