Lake Pan RV Village

BEWARE: unkept property in poor condition, unclean bathrooms, water is always being shut down due to pump system failing…never know when you’re going to have it. Potholes everywhere. If you stay more than a week and need packages delivered your screwed, staff hangs on to them you get certain times you can pick up. Bathhouse facilities stink and are downright filthy….shameful. Staff : argumentative if bring up concerns. POOL: always a coating of sunblock and oil on top of water so…. Yeah have fun with that cause pool is not kept up. All the grass is pretty much gone so tons of dirt on most sites. This place is only good to lay your head for a night that’s it

I stayed here this past summer and it was great. The small cabins come with a queen size bed and bunk beds, a small refrigerator, and coffee maker. During the stay we met the local who live there and they were very nice. Had a great swim at the pool and cooked all the meals in the BBQ are near the cabin. They also have fire pits which we used to make delicious smores. We enjoyed the location so much that we are returning this weekend. The only things I would note is this is a quant location if you are looking for flashy camping this will not be the space. If you are looking for a place to disconnect and camp out without the tent then you will enjoy this location.

Cabins are not made to stay in longer than 48 hours. Refrigerators in cabins freeze everything. Told that they all do and nothing they can do to fix problem. Cabins should not be used in winter time they can not hold heat and have drafts everywhere, doors, windows, wall ac unit. Just warning with the unusual cold weather they have had not some where you want to spend time. They were reasonable price but will not be staying here again.

The place was very empty. Sits right next to the interstate. And the Sumter County Dump is across the road. They say the smell is very prevalent during morning and evening. I drove 45 minutes to see. It's cleaned up well, but very old and not worth the money. And fish out of the lake has long ago been contaminated from the dump years ago. I counted about a dozen or more campers That would be 20percent full at best. This is not a good sign. I wouldn't stay there for long if I do ever go. Too many negatives. People seem ok. But still not recommended, unless you stay a few days and check it out.

We liked this RV park so much that we made reservations to winter here. Very nice and clean. The staff are all very friendly. My only grip is that they are a 55+ park. If would be nice if all 55+ RV parks would have shown on their websites or when searching. This was one of 5 parks that I went to that where 55+, which wouldn't be a big deal except I had my 8 year old granddaughter with me. One big plus for Lake Pan is that since Olivia would only be with me less than a week the park let us stay
