Lake Motel

Rented 3 rooms for a group fishing trip. $82.99 a night. Some of the rooms are long term tenants and some are rented daily. Room 17 smelt musty, TV didn't work, needed new carpet and needed cleaning . Room 18 is shown in video and was nicer. Room 19 was recently updated and was pretty nice. It is a good motel if you need to rent a place while your in the area for fishing or hunting. It had a nice fish / duck cleaning room. The room had a freezer in it to hold / freeze your game or fish. I would not recommend it unless you were on a fish / wild game trip. There was a Kwik trip a block away which was convenient. Numerous good restaurants close by.

I stayed 2 nights the first weekend of February 2024. I booked the room through Airbnb, just stumbled across the listing and took a chance. I usually stay at chain hotels, this time I wasn’t looking to pay an arm and a leg and I was looking for small, quiet, affordable and locally owned. Found it!||I stayed in room 16, this room has one full sized bed, a small desk, chair, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, flat screen TV, bedside table, 2 lamps, a cabinet to store items and homey decor. Recently stayed at The Lake Motel 2 nights; Room 16. Room was small but we knew that before booking. Contactless check-in. Very friendly host. Clean, quiet, cozy, & reasonably priced. Room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Walking distance to food, convenience store, and great scenic views of the River/Lake. Plenty of space for boat parking as well. Highly recommend!

Great location great price never even talked to staff they email you the code to get in the room. Awesome location and price place to park boat good stuff thank you

It is the cutest Motel ever. I love the coffee make, the affordability, the fact that it is next to Kwik Trip with easy food. Im so glad I found it. I would definitely go back again.
