Lake John Resort

Doug was great, he got us setup in a bigger hut for ice fishing and he pointed us in the direction of where he thought the fish should be and his knowledge proved to be fruitful. Him and his wife are super friendly and helpful. We had a blast and cant wait to go back.

I just got back from staying at the Lake John Resort and if you’re looking for a great place to stay for fishing and relaxing, you gotta try this place. The cabin/kitchenette is immaculately clean and comfortable. The general store has all you fishing and camping needs. The fly and tackle selection is perfect for the lake. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the lake and surrounding places to see. Trophy fish populate the lake and right now they’re in the 16 to 18” average and growing at about an inch a month. The folks at the store can help you choose the right flies or lures that they carry to assist in your fishing adventure. Hello everyone, Matthias Outdoor Living, YouTube. Please look me up. This was one of my best camping trips I've ever been on. Just looking at the photos you can see why. When I arrived, I did so by chance. It was far off the beaten path, but well worth it. Everyone was so friendly, the owners were kind and friendly, I even met the previous owner he came and visited camper van C who was camping to our right, and Bob and his family was camping to our left, and before we left we got both of there phone #s as you can imagine we had a great time, it was like we were with family. I will make it back there again. Stayed week of August 19, 2025. Thank you everyone you mean so much to, again thank you.

Love it when they know you as a families and wiling to work with anything.. if you’re new in this town.. this it a top place to go to where you can be middle of mountain where you can see land full of wild animals, clear sky with amazing stars in sky at night, more peaceful area where you can get away from reality like work, families or marriage.. This is a perfect place to get away from everything and knowing you can survive this world where those people comes from last many years… go explore and you will love it.. rather it is low or higher fansty… go get dirty and be down in earth type of peace…

I absolutely love this place! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Clean rooms. Everything you need for a great trip. Oh and the fish is awesome! Thank you to all the staff for making this a great trip
