There were 3 bears roaming around for 3 days. One was way to comfortable around camp. Every night we had something that they were messing with.

My visit on Feb 1 2017, was a great time, the camp grounds was very clean, had vault toilets (3 or 4). 13 camping spots with large trailer size driveways and plenty of picnic tables and fire pits. At the time of my visit there was a camp host. i saw a water pump at the campground on the east side not sure if it is usable. As far as the trails. very sandy. my kids cheap Chinese 125 cc 4 wheeler had a rough time getting thou alot of it. could have just been the young driver (4). trails are basic and all easy to get thou. nothing to crazy. plan about 2 days of riding. A lot of trails allow utv(side by side) and jeeps. P.S. the other campgrounds charge 5.50 a person to go into for day use. Such as the springs and what not.

Nice campground in the Ocala National Forest. There are no showers here but there are vaulted toilets. There was no host at my time of visit. This camp is considered a camp for OHVs so if you're a rider then there is where you'll want to stay. There is access to many trails directly from the campground. If you are not a rider you are still welcome but know that you will hear the motors from various OHVs throughout the day, especially on weekends. If there aren't many people in the camp it can get really quiet and peaceful. There is a smaller camp directly next to this one (at the time of my visit that camp was $4 more per night) where the OHVs aren't allowed and therefore you won't hear them as much. You can hear the sounds of many wild animals. It's a true wilderness camping experience. T

Lake Delancy West is in Ocala National Forest! Extremely out of the way, $6 a night for camping or $3 if you're a senior citizen from Florida or have the America beautiful senior pass. There are no amenities other than a pit toilet so if you come bring what you need and Carry Out trash Etc

Crowded. Ohv crowd. The park is not really set up for bikers, unfortunately. But good trails for all motorized devices.
