Great campground.... All sites have a grill, fire pit, and picnic table. The outhouse toilets have toilet paper. The care taker lives on property and stocks the toilet paper every day and drives by each campsite a few times a day for safety. He also cleans up every campsite after the campers leave and does a pretty good job. They have special bear proof trash cans and a bear proof locker at every website to store your food if needed. We did see a black bear 300 ft from our campsite an hour after we arrived 12/20/25 so that was nerve racking but never saw another one after that and never got bothered we did have bear spray though just in case because we heard about the bears at this campsite. We tried to find a good fishing spot at the campground but was unsuccessful but you can drive abou
Loved this campground. Quiet, scenic, and well kept up. It is also secluded, both the sites, which mostly aren't on top of each other, and its well off the main roads. So make sure you bring everything you need. There is a water source but its not potable. Bring drinking/cooking water. If you like to hike, It is also right off the florida trail. The sunrise and sunsets are spectacular!
Immaculate, quiet with stores 8mi away. All kinds of birds and animals come see for yourself. The stars at night are amazing as is the sunrise.
Great camp ground! Our spot was on top of two other spots and the spots across from us were empty and spaced out. We tried to change spots but the host said he didn’t know how to. That was kind of annoying. Other than that, the camp grounds were beautiful! Bathroom was very clean. Host was active and driving around after guests left to make sure the site is clean for the next. Price was great, will be booking again!
Amazing primitive campground there are only 21 sites and it's first come first serve . Spent 5 days there much less traffic around the campground with made it very peaceful. There are only toilets here no showers or sinks . The view of the prairie was amazing during sunrise and sunset . The view of the stars were unreal . Definitely a beautiful place. The road in is rough not bad in a jeep or truck .
