Ladson RV Park

Its a very cramped park, security gate is left open at all times, getting in and out is not easy especially for bigger campers, not quiet at all, area around is not great either. if you travel for work and have to leave early in the month, dont expect a refund. While it says pet friendly theres nowhere to let your pet get out some energy and no dog parks that arent packed at all hours. There are cheaper options that are only 30 more minutes away and nicer by far. I went with this place because of the distance of where I was working and almost immediately regretted that decision. The traffic in the area is never not terrible. If youre hoping to make it down town, it is 30 minutes... at 2am any other time will be 1hr or more. This place just isnt worth the hassle

The most peaceful RV campground without any drama! The ducks and ducklings are an added bonus. Greg, the owner, is always available for any questions and is an absolute delight. I love this place and don't plan on leaving anytime in the future! The location is prime, easy access to everything and couldn't have been accepted to a better RV park. I truly appreciate coming across this gem of a place. You're literally in the middle of the city, however the RV park is far enough off the road that it's so quiet and you're unaware of the Hustle and bustle of the city. I recommend this beautiful place to any and all that desire peace and quiet as well as the beautiful interaction with the ducks and ducklings.

That's just it, an RV Park. That's it, just a quiet place to park for a few days. Definitely doesn't have that camping feel to it. They are very responsive to questions and is nice and quiet and the people staying there all seemed nice. I'm more looking for that camping atmosphere like the fire ring and grill and a picnic table. None of this is offered in the individual campsite mostly because the spots are so small they can't fit it into the site. Would I stay there again? Probably not, but not because of a bad experience, just not the vibe I'm looking for when camping.

We stayed here for about 2 months and the entire time they were extremely accommodating to our family! When we called to book, it was last minute and there was only weekly spots available, however they worked with us and got us moved over to a monthly spot when it came available and refunded us the difference in pricing. Their customer service is excellent and they are always working to better the grounds. The environment is quiet and relaxing. While there might not be amenities for kids here, there are so many parks nearby to take them to. Otherwise, the ducks are fun to watch around the rv park. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and I definitely recommend staying here!

Stayed here for October and November. We had no contact with the owner or manager other than emails. Just a heads up that the entrance is confusing. You basically have to ignore the ‘No left turn sign’ and turn in where people exit if you are coming from Ladson St. Other option is to go past entrance all the way to the roundabout and come in from the other direction. The problem with that is the telephone pole next to where you turn right - so just know you will probably have to go on the median to avoid it. There is a gate but it was always open so did nothing for security. There is a lot of noise from emergency vehicles and traffic. Other than that, the park is fine, we had no problems and the location was what we needed so that made up for the lack of everything else.
