La Rivera Experience Resort

Stayed 4 nights there for a guy's trip. Cannot say enough about the natural beauty of this massive, sprawling property...and speaking of beauty, let's not forget the delightfully friendly and eager staff! From Alex the chef who prepared world class meals everyday, to Ursula the smiley and friendly girl in the front office to Deanna who endeavored to make every detail as personal to our group as could ever be expected (special meal requirements, beverages, etc)...nothing we asked for was too much!). Highly recommend this private retreat for corporate or family functions, romantic getaways, or just a guys/girls trip. Such a beautiful place!

Al and I attended an Easter brunch at the La Rivera Resort yesterday, and we were both pleasantly surprised by the exceptional staff's hospitality. They even gave us a tour of the grounds, showcasing the stunning bedrooms that had been transformed from old silos, as well as the beautiful guesthouse. We then moved to the beautifully decorated dining area. We started with delicious hors d'oeuvres, including shrimp cocktails and a salad bar filled with various meats, cheeses, and vegetables. For our main course, we enjoyed perfectly cooked, chef-inspired prime rib, flavorful garlic mashed potatoes, cauliflower casserole, and green bean casserole. If I could rate this place higher than 5 stars I would. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We hosted a couples shower for our friends and the Lodge, it comfortably sat around 40 people. Chef Alex prepared amazing appetizers for us and even offered to cut and serve the cake which was such a big help. The breakfast he prepared the next morning was also very delicious. Deanna helped us coordinate our event and she made everything go by so smoothly. The silos were very spacious and the beds very comfortable. I highly recommend checking this place out!

My husband and I were given the experience of Valentine’s Day weekend at La Rivera. We felt so welcome and pampered from the moment we arrived, until we left. The atmosphere is relaxed and there are a lot of activities for groups…pickleball, swimming pool, spa, outdoor fire pit, and much more. The food was especially made for us with our diet restrictions, and all tasted amazing. The silo rooms are quaint and inviting in every detail. Much care was taken to make this weekend special. We plan on coming back every Valentine’s Day. Thank you to Steve and Claudia, and their kind staff for making our weekend so memorable. We will never forget.

We loved our stay here! The grain silo had been turned into the cutest little place! The heated toilet had my husband wanting to buy one for our own house! They went above and beyond with our gluten-free vegan food requests! Would highly recommend this place for a great relaxing night away!
