Hotel Dilley Grand

Love this hotel my mom, my son and me stayed in for the night. Beds were super comfy. Pillows so fluffy. Comforter very soft and and warm. The rooms were very beautiful as welll. Love the shower. Definitely will stay here again.

Only there for one night while hunting. We arrived late around 10:30. Old property when you walk around the building it seems like everything is not too level which is typical of an old property. The rooms are tiny but clean as are the bathrooms. The towels are small - like the kind we were issued in the Army. The parking areas are tight don't plan on parking a dually. The hallways, stiarways and common areas could use some serious attention with regard to cleaning. Our room faced the railroad tracks. Fortunately the sound proofing was adequate with ear buds in. Not much space. Don't plan on the continental breakfast unless you're partial to cereal. OK for a cheap overnight but that's about it. The front desk guy was courteous, but I think our arrival disturbed his sleep.

⸻ We’ve had an extended stay of about four months so far at the Hotel Dilly Grand, and we honestly couldn’t be more pleased. The hotel is wonderfully clean, in a safe and convenient location, and the hospitality is top-notch. A special shout-out goes to the property manager, Joannie, who truly goes out of her way to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. We’re already recommending this place to our family and friends whenever they come to visit us. It’s definitely become a home away from home for us!

This place is HORRIBLE. No hot water, air conditioning didn’t work, no hot breakfast, no maid service after 4 days, no new linens or towels. There’s a train that goes 6 times every night between 10 pm and 4 am that honks right outside your window. This place has had a recent paint job this year but it’s just clean enough to take pictures of for the website but up close it’s dirty and dingy and unclean and wholefully unsafe. The rooms are ground level with a single hard lock attached to a keypad, making it completely unsecured for travelers. No stars. 0/5 would not recommend anyone stay here. The other reviews are obviously fake and written by either staff or management.

Worst place to stay, not welcoming in any way from check in. The room that was dirty and seemed as if the bedding hadn’t been washed. Smelled like a skunk in the room or a dead animal. Horrible hospitality from check in to check out! Don’t waste your money here! Never again!
