La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Woodway - Waco South

Rooms were spacious and clean. Bathroom shower head could use an upgrade. Room decor was a little dated. Breakfast was great -/ they use real eggs! The breakfast lady was superb! My major negative was WiFi didn’t work at all for my trip. I had to go Starbucks for my remote work.

Our stay was 5 stars, the staff was fantastic our room was great. We were here during icy weather, and staff did all they could to keep sidewalks safe. We also had our dog and I don't know if I have been to a more dog friendly hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

Susan was very friendly, efficient and professional confirming our reservation and checking us in. The Saturday Night shift guy was friendly and helpful. The morning shift girl on Sunday was great. The hotel was well kept our room was very nice and clean. Bravo guys!!

THIS IS AN UNSAFE LOCATION. My family checks in and the nice front desk employee informs me about security and cameras. What they don't tell me is that they have the north door bar lock duct taped open so that the door never locks. I found this quite unusual but I was tired and went to bed. Room was clean and quiet. The next morning, as I'm leaving, a homeless guy asks me for money I'm the parking lot. I travel all over I'm used to this. Then he waltzes into the hotel through this taped open door. Very casually, very normally, like this $138/night hotel is also a drop in shelter. I understand homeless people need help and a place to stay, but this hotel shouldn't be the place for that.
