La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tucson Airport

Beautiful spacious room, close to airport,very quiet atmosphere, cleaner than most hotel rooms, NO bugs nothing was missing & bathroom was well stocked. Very friendly staff & convenient shuttle service. Would love to see a few Non- dairy options for coffee like almond milk but otherwise it was fine! La quinta will be hearing from me again.

We were just visiting Tucson for the weekend and were stopping for the night. We usually have a good experience at this hotel brand. Not so much this time. The first room the gave the key wouldn't work, took about 10 minuets to finally get it opened. Went to the front desk and the young desk clerk said it was because our phones were by the key card, phone was in the car, then he said that the key cards were 20 years old, they were not. We were just going to go to a different hotel when they gave us another room, we had to insert the key card multiple times before the door would open. The room was spacious , there was no lock on the bathroom door, which actually looked like closet doors, but the rest of the hotel looked dated. The breakfast was ok I think they need to add bananas and

Positive: Everyone we came across was friendlly, helpful in so many ways. The breakfast offered was way beyond expectation and tasted really good, really fresh. The bed was soooo comfortable. Bottles of soap and shampoo/conditioner in holders, so convenient! Dryer! Negative: We bought a tub mat, to alleviate slipping. The shower was great.

Please refer to the attached photos. Just arrived to my room, the floors are not clean (crumbs and plastic wrappers on the ground), countertop has hair on it, toilet has hair on it and bathtub has hair inside of it. I didn’t know running a vacuum and cleaning up a bathroom was so difficult. These cleaners obviously does not care nor does their management. $134 for this is despicable. Motel 6 would’ve been better and for half the price. Hell, San Diego is more expensive and at this exact price point and I got much better service. Spend your money elsewhere.

Pretty happy with everything overall, room and common spaces were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. I just wish they would move away from the Styrofoam cups/plates/bowls in favor of a more sustainable option.
