La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Snellville-Stone Mountain

Positive: Friendliness, ease and mostly cleanly . The kids enjoyed the pool. Negative: The bed wasn?t the most comfortable.

Unfortunately, my experience at this property was extremely unprofessional from start to finish. Before arriving, I called the hotel directly to ask about switching to a closer location. I was told this was not possible because I booked through Booking.com. I then contacted Booking.com, who confirmed the reservation was valid, prepaid, and required no changes. I drove over an hour to the hotel based on that confirmation. Upon arrival, I had already completed mobile pre-check-in and added a card for incidentals, as instructed. I was told I only needed to pick up my keys. However, the front desk agent requested my physical card and then repeatedly claimed the payment was not going through, despite the reservation being prepaid. At this point, a housekeeping employee entered the front desk

Although not spotless, my room was Very Clean. My complimentary late checkout request of 3:00 pm was not available, but a checkout time of 12 noon was offered. The noise that other reviews spoke on, I didn't hear. The breakfast was as advertised. The breakfast area was extremely clean and actually was available after 9:00. There wasn't any shady characters or activity at night when I came in and out. The water was hot and the pressure was good. The parking lot is well lit. Because of another review, I knew how to set the thermostat so I had constant heat. The unit flowed great without a lot of noise. The refrigerator and microwave is a nice size and worked great. The staff that I encountered from check in to check out was pleasant. Based on this visit, I would stay here again.

Stayed here for a night on our drive up from Mississippi to Nj for Thanksgiving week. Was really impressed with the hotel. Friendly staff, and super clean. The room was a good size and the beds were very comfy. The bathroom had strong water pressure and nicely updated as well. If we are ever back in the area this will be our go to again!

We had a great time. The staff were nice and helpful. The room looked the same as the pics. It had an indoor pool that worked and was warm. It was close to everything. We really enjoyed ourselves. We brought in the new yr in style!
