La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Orlando UCF

We choose this La Quinta because it so close to our daughters home, and they allow pets. The pet is is more than reasonable. The property is very clean and was very quiet when we were there. Breakfast was adequate. Room location was great with the dogs. Didn’t use pool but gym was nice, clean and well equipped.

I really try to be decent when I leave these reviews but there are some things I just can't overlook. The room itself was nice and had an appealing layout. We had a bedroom with two queen beds, it had a TV, a fridge and a microwave, a little desk and two chairs. The shower was amazing, nice and hot, water pressure was soso. The AC worked great, the beds were comfortable and I slept like a rock. The staff at the front desk were all very nice and accommodating. The issue I had was with the bathroom. The showercurtain had these nasty brown stains on it and it just really grossed me out. I always thought they were supposed to change out the shower curtains for new guests. That's the one thing I just can't tolerate in a hotel room, a bathroom that feels unclean. I saw that and instantly I felt

Positive: "" Negative: I did not have hot water night of arrival or in the morning. They did correct hot water issue that night but did not restore to my area until I complained about still not having hot water.

The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff was pleasant during our stay. The rooms were well-kept and overall comfortable. However, the restaurants were a bit farther than expected if you’re planning to walk, so keep that in mind if you don’t have a car. The grounds could also be maintained a little better, as there were areas that looked like they needed some attention. All in all, it was a decent hotel — I’d consider it a solid three-star experience.

Great location; super easy to get to and surrounded by lots of greenery. The area has some interesting spots to explore, which is a nice bonus. Clean place; the staff were really friendly and made me feel welcome. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in the area!
