La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Orlando IDrive Theme Parks

I highly recommend this hotel. Amazing front desk staff, which I congratulate in the name of Elsa, one of the best of the team(they were all awesome). Great location(near everything), the property does not charge to receive packages(this is really wonderful and a main competitive advantage regarding other hotels in Orlando). Daily housekeeping and the breakfast is very good (by american standards). Note that a 100 USD deposit(credit cards only) is asked upon check in. Thank you everyone! Hope to come back soon.||P.S.- There were three packages that arrived after my check out that the hotel kindly returned to senders for a full a refund.

Positive: The roon was very nice. It was roomy, clean, and comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly. It was also conveniently located in the Theme Park area near restaurants. Negative: I had some diificulties getting the TV to work. But I figured it out and it was fine.

Hotel and location are beautiful, clean, and modern. My only issue is that the room doors shut very loudly so I can hear every time my neighbors leave their room and I had one that smoked so I was woken up all night and sometimes at 5AM. It’s really just constant door slams in the hall. The walls are pretty thin so I hear my neighbors tv and the service workers and house keepers in the halls talking and vacuuming in the morning 🙃 Daytime front desk agent was great and attentive, night time agent doesn’t answer the phone and when I walk all the way to the lobby she’s on FaceTime on her cell phone-it wasn’t even 9pm yet. Service people were sweet, but some didn’t speak English so it was hard to ask for things.

I’ll be honest when I visit Orlando I always stay at the same resort. However, I was looking for a more budget friendly option since I wasn’t staying for a week like I typically do. For the price and the appearance of the property (since the La Quinta is near the said resort) it looked to be nice I decided to give it a chance. I was honestly very surprised! Back at home, a La Quinta is typically the bottom of the barrel with rude staff and dirty run down locations. The property was very well maintained! The grounds were clean and the landscaping was well kept. The lobby was very clean and it smelled clean. The employees that I’ve encountered were polite and professional. The room was very modern! Hotel was great with a convenient location to all things Orlando.|Room was clean and I liked the LVP floors as opposed to gross carpeting. Areas of opportunity would be to improve room decor. The colors of the couch curtains and chair did not compliment each other in any way and it lacked wall art. The piece of furniture that the TV sits on is comparable to what every other hotel in life I've been in holds the refrigerator & microwave. But it only housed a small safe. The small cube refrigerator and microwave are housed in an area that is hidden unless the bathroom door is closed. I actually had to call the front desk because I couldn't find microwave & fridge.
