La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham NW Tucson Marana

My first time staying here, it was great! The location is perfect, very close to my family that I am in town visiting. It’s a nice area and plenty near by. The hotel staff was nice. The room was nice and spacious. Bed was pretty comfortable, pillows were fine. There is a small gym on site that I used twice during my stay, nothing fancy but just what I needed. I would definitely stay here again.

While we only stayed one night while making a stop on a long road trip, this is the hotel we would choose to stay at if we ever pass through the Tucson area again. The lobby and breakfast area were immaculate, and so was our room. Everything was lovely, which made it so much easier to relax and rest. The covered parking is much appreciated, and the area felt safe. Additionally, the hotel is within walking distance of a Cracker Barrel and an In-N-Out Burger, but there are many other places to dine in the vicinity.

Positive: The guy that checked us in was great and very helpful. After that absolutely nothing! Negative: The customer service was awful! We were refused room service because ?they were too busy?. Informed all I needed was towels and the trash taken out and was informed they couldn?t do that. I had to go to Walmart and purchase towels & purchase trash bags.

So remember it's a 2 star hotel which means it may not be perfect: a small dent in the wall by the elevator probably from the luggage cart (though they do have two carts which is nice) and a couple small patches on my bathtub. However I found the service to be 4 or 5 star quality: I called to let them know I would be arriving after midnight and they were very cheerful and totally on top of things as they also saw my reservation note that I was bringing my adventure cat, check in was great - very welcoming, friendly front desk throughout my stay, good cleaning of the rooms, the guy closing up the breakfast doors at 9:30 Friday politely explained that it closed at 9 and it's only open until 10 on weekends but he let me slip in for a few seconds to grab some fruit which I really appreciated.

Check-in was quick and easy. The resort is extremely clean and nicely decorated. Our bedroom was comfortable, inviting, and well-appointed. The bathroom was a highlight, featuring a wonderful shower with dual shower heads—a standard shower and a relaxing rainfall head. Parking was convenient, with easy highway access, and several restaurants are within walking distance. Highly recommended! ⭐
