La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Myrtle Beach - N Kings Hwy

I recently stayed at La Quinta Inn and had a really solid experience overall. The highlight for me was the shower — great hot water and strong water pressure, which is always a win when you’re traveling. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept. I also really appreciated that they’re pet friendly. That made the stay so much easier, and the staff was welcoming and kind from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was pretty basic — cereal, yogurt, waffles, and grits. The only protein option was hard-boiled eggs, and unfortunately those weren’t very good. If breakfast variety or higher-quality protein matters to you, that’s something to keep in mind. Overall though, it was a clean, comfortable, pet-friendly place with friendly service, and I’d stay again.

The staff were nice, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They didn’t have scrambled eggs either morning, but had hard boiled eggs instead. The waffles were good and they had biscuits and gravy. No yogurt the second morning. The apples were not fresh either. You need to ask them for sugar free syrup.

**THERE IS NO BREAKFAST** (will explain further down): Originally had a pretty bad experience due to a specific employee, but ended up having our stay redeemed by Matt and Scott. They fixed everything for us, made it right, and made us feel welcome the rest of our stay. Matt was so patient with us on getting the room we needed, and Scott was very helpful and understanding as well. As for the establishment, I will say, THERE IS NO BREAKFAST!!! Not a real one anyways, they have cereal and hard boiled eggs that taste and feel like rubber and seem like they were made over a week ago; there is no actual breakfast food, like sausages or eggs or bacon or anything like that, so extremely dissapointing when that was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, especially when we were told ahead of

Look for a different hotel this one will scam u out of ur money! I don't smoke but I was charged $500 at this hotel when we were all sleeping. I got up n turned the AC on then right back to bed. 5 mins later an account that wasn't even used at the hotel was charged. The account they charged was used with a 3rd party to hold the room but the room was paid for wit a completely different account by the person that checked in. La Quinta wasn't authorized to use that account for payment or charges. I tried to get someone to come to the room to see there was obviously no smoke of any kind in the room since we checked in. I filled out their form n was told someone would contact me which never happened. I had to go all the way back there n physically walk back into the hotel to talk to someone ab
