La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Myrtle Beach

So many negative comments on here about the establishment and staff, but I had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very nice as well helpful. They were happy to help with anything I asked. The manager Mrs. Phyllis was beyond nice. From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out she was helpful, attentive to any and all my needs, and always had a smile on her face. I've stayed there several times over the years and will continue doing so. The price is reasonable and the stay is more than satisfactory. Thank you to Wyndham resorts for providing a comfy place with a wonderful and welcoming staff. Big Thank you to the manager Mrs. Phyllis for always being so kind and having such a great demeanor about her. It's these things that help make any stay a good stay!.

Place is great when you need a place to sleep. It has an outdoor pool, free breakfast every morning (sadly it’s the same 5 food items, but sometimes will have a 6th option), and free parking. It doesn’t have any services like dry cleaning, room service, or hand soap in the bathrooms. The rooms all seem to be different too. Some have a king bed with a pullout sofa bed, others have 2 queen sized beds, and another variation is 2 full sized beds. The room(s) with the full sized beds (at least this was my room), it had no bathroom door. Also, there are ice machines on floors 2,3,5, & 6. It also seems that floor 4 is pretty popular and is quite noisy day or night… so if you want sleep, request another floor. Also, this hotel isn’t really close to much of anything, but it’s has amazingly low rate

Positive: Convenience to restaurants and stores Negative: The bathroom was a little tough on my partner getting in and out

Experience was nice. When I’m in town again I’ll be sure to stay here. Room was newly renovated. Plenty of space for me, store was walking distance and very convent. Location is perfect.

I stayed a couple of nights ago and i hadn’t read the reviews but i see now that im not the only one saying she is rude… FIRST OF ALL … the manager lady at the desk is highly rude … I overheard yelling at employees about room and the employees barely speak English … when it was breakfast time at 7:00 guest were coming down to enjoy free breakfast and every 5-10 minutes she kept going into the breakfasts room complaining and reaching over guest food to accommodate herself or the way they made their food. The guy who works late night had to be paid under the table to do her dirty work when she’s off because his words always seem to switch when asking him questions
