La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Myrtle Beach Broadway Area

Here for a funeral and had to bring my dog. Not a lot of grassy areas for my dog to go potty. The room could have used a more thorough cleaning. I went and bought clorox wipes to get stuff off the counters. Aside from that and some peeling paint on doors, the room was comfortable. Clean bed and comfortable mattress. Breakfast choices were few. No flavored yogurt or danishes or bagels. Just whole apples for fruit.

Great location close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, quiet, and well-maintained. Overall, an enjoyable and stress-free stay—I would gladly return.

Positive: The hotel was very nice and in walking distance to all the fun areas Negative: Yes! There was a nasty receptionist that literally argued with me and my mother in law.. had a lot of Lippy comebacks that wasn’t even necessary to make. The first room we were given when we went in the beds were not made, yeah was still in the room, & towels were still on the floor... go down to the front desk tell the guy working he puts us in another room all housekeeping is done, but one thing is missing a shower curtain and this was not discovered until almost midnight as my family and I went over to Broadway at the beach before coming back to go to bed. Highly unlikely that we will stay here again and I am disappointed because this was our go to hotel to stay when we would come to MB simply for the convenience of Broadway at the beach being across the street.

I would rate this hotel with zero stars if that was an option. First off, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. One of the double beds had something that looks like mud on the bed skirt. Additionally, I accidentally left my IPad. I apparently pulled the sheets over it and didn’t see it as I was packing to leave. I know I left my IPad on that bed. Someone stole it and everyone including the hotel manager has been rude and not helpful at all about finding out who has it. As a person that is use to working in the hospitality field, It has always been a big thing to stress to employees the importance of turning in items that are left by customers. Failure to do so was would result in termination. This is a hotel that obviously do not hold and values or loyalty when it comes to customers!!
