La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Miami Lakes

Had a very nice stay at the hotel. The place was clean and comfortable. The new GM, Jay, is very nice and friendly. He was welcoming and made sure guests felt comfortable. You can see he really cares about the hotel and the guests. I would definitely stay here again

Here’s a clear and firm negative review you can post:||I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The bathroom exhaust fan was not working, which made the room uncomfortable. The room itself had a strong, unpleasant smell and felt stinky throughout the stay. Breakfast options were also poor and unhealthy, mainly consisting of white flour bread with very limited nutritious choices. On top of that, I had to make repeated service requests for basic issues, which should not be necessary. Overall, this stay did not meet basic expectations for comfort or service, and I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel’s location is very convenient — there are several restaurants and a Winn-Dixie supermarket within walking distance. Breakfast is included from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and offers a good variety: cereals, waffles, instant oatmeal, bread, butter, jam, cream cheese, muffins, apples, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, and apple and orange juice. Coffee and ice are available 24 hours a day. The room includes a microwave, a small refrigerator, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, and air conditioning. The bathroom is well equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel — not in small travel bottles, but in large dispensers installed in the shower, which is very convenient. It’s true that the hotel is a bit old and could use some updates, but the price is very reasonable for everything it

This hotel’s decor was appealing. The furnishings were nice, but the level of cleanliness left some things to be desired. The bathroom suffered most in my room. The walls had soap scum, and so did the bathtub as well as hair that was left behind by some previous person. While there I did see a roach, the staff was reasonably accommodating. I did enjoy the 24 hour coffee service and the breakfast selections were good. 

The room was ok bathroom old, when I needed towels had to wait until after 11 am also I was told about the deposit hen I arrived also told the deposit would be returned immediately at checkout which was a Saturday they then said Monday which I understood now today the person answering the front desk says 3-5 business days all nonsense I don’t do business like this and never leave security deposits at hotels!!!! They charge the card they need to charge wont stay here again be careful
