La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham LaGrange / I-85

This is a great-value LaQuinta property that is very convenient to the I-85 exit. There is an almost-adjacent Cracker Barrel. The hotel is located at a dead end next to another hotel and is pretty quiet. On the night I stayed, this property was about half the price of the Courtyard by Marriott. The front desk staff was nice, especially the lady in the morning. The room was reasonably clean. There was some overlooked or sloppy maintenance and some general wear and tear. The inside blind was broken and couldn't be raised or lowered; it was simply thrown over the rod. I got the impression that it had been that way for quite some time. Booked a king bed with pullout sofa. When we arrived, no pullout sofa. My partner spoke to services & apparently, none of their rooms have pullout sofas?? & they were fully booked (La Quinta & all other hotels in the area), so we had no other options. I don’t think they should have it on their sites or any other booking sites that they offer pull out beds if they actually don’t.

We are traveling home . Stopped to get some rest . Got to the 1st room ...TV didnt work so, put us n another room . Well it was warm so I turned on the ac it was fine for a couple hrs then it started making this loud noise woke us up . Turned it off ( had to unplug it to get it to go off ) , then woke up again hot ect it was a restless night was up by 4:45am. The gentleman that worked the desk that night was awesome. The morning lady didnt seen to care that we had such a terrible night , she did apologize but was more concerned aboout the ac .Breakfast was ok I guess . Definitely won't ever stay at another La Quinta Inn. Im not tryn to be ugly just was a bad experience and I'm still tired for another day of traveling . Can't wait to be HOME !

Our stay at the LaQuinta in LaGrange, GA, was HORRIBLE. Checked in late after a long drive, sat down at the desk to eat our sandwiches, and a COCKROACH RAN ACROSS THE DESK. I smashed it with the only thing I had, my cell phone. Scooped it up into a tissue (there was ONE tissue left in the box) and took it to the front desk. Wish I had taken a photo of it for proof. The desk clerk (1/29/26 8:30pm) made a comment about ‘the joys of working in a hotel.” He offered us a new room. My husband had already showered and was ready for bed, we weren’t moving at that point. And what difference would it make? If there’s a roach in one room, there can be roaches in any room! Add to that … when my husband turned on the sink faucet he thought it was going to fall off the sink. It wobbled back and forth.
