La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Floresville

This place was kind of unsettling. Mold. Unsafe areas. We get here, and the staff is super nice. We come check out the room everything is clean and looks great. The tv remote most buttons don’t work, channel guide is useless. So we decide to go to the pool. We noticed the doors to go outside leading into the pool area were propped open and guys kept coming in and out in and out through that door going from outside back to the hotel. They were meeting one at a time at a truck. Anywho we minded our business and went into the pool area. Where again, the door leading outside was PROPPED open! All of the windows were unlocked and most were propped open as well. The pool was ice cold and had a film, the hot tub was ok. People kept walking in and out and around the pool area outside so we decided

Good easy location. Great parking. Friendly staff. Older hotel. Fairly clean and maintained. Great check in staff. Only complaint were the beds. Mattresses well used and sheets although clean were picked and had unpleasant texture. Great AC!

Staff was very friendly & helpful. Rooms were clean but could use some maintenance. Shower water was lukewarm warm. A/C worked but heater did not. With temperatures dropping to the 20s the room we stayed in was quite cold. Pool is not heated and the hot tub did not work as well, when jets were turned on - the water had a bad smell to it.

Positive: "" Negative: There was no plug to stop the water for my kids bath. There also wasn’t any meat on the breakfast.

Great value, the rooms are large and clean. No dirt bags staying here, other guests were workers and respectful of the other guests and staff. Fixtures and finishes were up to date. Location was good. Good water pressure and clean linens. Will stay again if in the area.
