Holiday Inn Express & Suites Floresville by IHG

We had a nice stay! When I come home with my husband for the holidays we have started to stay here and enjoy it. Staff is friendly and helpful, Loly’s breakfast being exceptional! Located in a good spot in Floresville to either walk to HEB or Taco Bell for something quick or a quick drive to everything. The rooms are standard but nice, the AC units could be updated a bit to cool the room more evenly and with there were to separate bathroom lights, one for the shower and one for the vanity just because the vanity light is super bright for using the bathroom in the middle of the night or early in the morning. Also the mattress is a bit firm and we needed extra pillows for our king size bed. Bummed the hot tub was out of order when we went!

Well kept, staff was friendly when we checked in at 9:45pm after 16 hrs of driving. Best shower I’ve seen to date! Nice full glass two person shower with excellent water pressure. Loly’s breakfast was next level!! There was normal stuff but she went extra with tortillas, beans, sausage/eggs and chorizo/eggs. Told her we were leaving back to Florida the next day and she made me a nice togo plate for the next morning. Loly was very friendly and helpful. Would suggest this hotel everyday for someone staying in Floresville.

The carpet in the hallways and our room were dirty and musty. The carpet needs a very deep shampooing and vacuuming. The carpet makes the overall stay feel yucky. The sofa bed looked like it would not hold an adult. My son is 5"8" and around 180 lbs; he did not want to risk falling through so he slept on the "sofa." The shampoo/conditioner dispensers were empty. (Good thing I brought my own.) Being a Holiday Inn, I was very disappointed in this hotel. Customer Service was great though. The front desk people could not locate my reservation even though it was made far in advance. They still accommodated our family of 4 immediately. That was very nice of them. Later on, the manager/owner found my reservation in a different part of their computer system.

Had a great stay there recently. Shout out to the nice dining area lady with the beautiful white hair. She was such a pleasure to chat with.

When I walked in I was greeted by Ruben who was AMAZING!!! I booked a king but ended up bringing my niece and he switched my room out for a double on the first floor. The elevator was out so I really appreciated that gesture! The next morning I met Lolly!!! Lolly greeted me in the breakfast area. I initially was going to grab an apple and leave but she insisted I try the breakfast and I am so glad I did!!!! The food was delicious and Lolly’s kind and helpful demeanor made the experience better!
