La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Appleton College Avenue

Positive: The pool area was nice and heated well! Negative: Coin operated game room with no way to get coins exchanged for use and when asked front desk rolled their eyes about getting coins for the game room

I was a bit nervous when I booked a room here as the outside of the building is a bit run down looking. But to my surprise the inside of the hotel is great. Staff is friendly and helpful. The pool/hot tub area is spacious. The jets on the hot tub were not working but there is a hot tub to soak in. The free breakfast was wonderful. Had a great weekend stay.

I had a great stay! The workers were great and the location is also great! The only real complaint that I have is the property is older, so the hotel looks like it needs some work, but again the rooms are clean and decent so I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Everything was excellent with my stay. Staff were friendly, the complimentary breakfast was excellent. The hot items changed every day. The location was great with restaurants, a grocery store and a huge movie theater right next door. The room was clean and very quiet.

The rooms are dated and need maintenance. It took 2 tries before we got a satisfactory room. The hot tub jets have been broken for over two months according to the front desk. The shower in the pool area the knob is broken off so you can't shower before entering the pool. There are maintenance issues such as peeling paint on the registers in the pool area, wallpaper peeling and hanging off, women's bathroom was disgusting. We are very disappointed with the condition of this hotel and would not recommend it to others. Edit....I just added a photo of a mousetrap with a dead mouse in it in the breakfast area this morning.
