La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Albuquerque Midtown

I’m always a fan of LaQuinta hotels. I drive cross country at least 3 times a year. My 1st choice is always La Quinta. Some think it’s a little but pricey for a quick night stay , but I appreciate the clean rooms . As a pet owner , most hotels charge you extra , which is fine , but they usually give you the worst rooms. Which I feel is unfair. We pay more , but get crappier rooms. To me , doesn’t make sense. La Quinta’s rooms have always been very nice. This hotel also was a great stay for me and my dogs. Easy to get to , right off 40 , and the staff was lovely. Definitely will be staying there again ! I went with a couple friends to stay for a concert this last week and we had problems from the start the guy who checked us in was new and had no idea what he was doing. The breakfast layout is strange and there’s not many options. The hotel rooms are in rough shape we had a bunch of broken light switches floor boards up it was just rough. On our 2nd full day we had house keeping banging at the door at 8am saying we were checking out that day even though we booked a whole extra day, we went to the desk and they had said we needed to check out or figure it out and call who we booked through l. Which we did they confirmed the extra day so it was the hotels system but they didn’t want to admit that so we had to book another day. The staff were so rude to us. I’m dealing with multiple extra ch

It's a very nice hotel with very helpful front desk staff. The room was updated and very nice but upon further inspection I noticed some mold on the bathroom ceiling. And I was not able to take a very hot shower the next morning. The water would only get warm. They have a wonderful little courtyard for pets to run around and it is all enclosed. The rooms are very insulated so I did not hear any neighbors. They have a few updates that they should probably look into but otherwise the rooms are very nice and clean. And you feel safe there.

Positive: I didn?t realize our room included a couch so it was nice to have the extra space. Negative: Not much of a view out the window. Also this is not the hotels fault but our room was right next to a softball team. Giggling and doors slamming at 1am. I wish the coach?s would explain to the team to be more courteous to the rooms around them.

My wife and I really enjoyed our overnight stay at this hotel! We stayed in a second-floor room with a king-size bed and lots of comfy pillows. Everything worked perfectly, and the room was spotless with a big window that let in plenty of light. The bathroom was super clean, stocked with lots of towels, and had great water pressure with plenty of hot water. We also appreciated the little extras, such as, a small microwave, coffee maker, and mini-fridge. The TV worked great and had plenty of entertainment options to browse through. We took a walk around the hotel and were impressed by how clean and well-kept everything was. Families were enjoying the indoor pool, which looked like a lot of fun.
