La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Orlando Airport West

Terrible overall experience. Several issues we had during our stay: One of only two elevators were working and took so long that we ended up taking the stairs. The hot tub was not heated. There was hair on the bathroom floor on arrival. Coming back to the hotel on night one we found that the outside doors to the hotel were propped open for anyone off the street to come right in without a key. The breakfast choices were basic at best with no real variety. The main switch to the lights in the room would disable all power outlets so we could not charge our phones. We also had the “do not disturb” sign on our door and when we came back from our day out, the blinds we had left open were shut and our A/C temperature was turned back up. Mold in the bathroom tub along the seals going up the wall, bottom of the tub was not white to say the least. Gave us body soap bar, mini shampoo and conditioner, no hand soap for the think… Turns out we found out the toilet was leaking water when flushed. Smelled like mildew and regrets when we went in and every time we opened the door after that when we left and came back. 3 towels for bathing for 4 guests. 3 pillows per full bed. No do not disturb sign, had to go to the front desk to get these things, the front desk person walked us to the facility laundry room and had us help him beg the extra pillow, handed us a towel, and fetched a do not disturb door tag from another room. Booked thru Airbnb. I tried to cancel my second stay thru Airbnb but they didn’t cancel the hotel, so 79$ cance

Well the rooms are moist and musky. Carpet floors you have to wear shoes otherwise your feet get black. Door card keeps loosing the code and have to reset daily. It isn’t all bad the beds are clean and comfortable. As a place to stay I would rate it a 2 Star Hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I have no idea how this place is even open and has passed any kind of inspection. The elevator does not work and of course the room we had was on the 3rd floor and at the very end. Had to carry 4 pieces of luggage and 3 large carry on bags. By the time we got up the stairs to drop off our luggage the Uber driver arrived and we left quickly for Magic Kingdom. I was very nervous leaving our belongings but we did not have a choice, we were already running behind. After getting back from the park, we opened up the door and thankfully our luggage was still there. We then had time to inspect the place and it was HORRIBLE! We had a great stay at La Quinta. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, including switching our room to the first floor and helping us with a car boost. Breakfast had a good variety for kids, and the price was reasonable. There was a minor shower issue, but it just needed some time to clear. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we would stay again and recommend it to others.
