La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Davenport & Conference Center

This place was ok. I liked the size of the bathroom, but the water pressure sucked, and there was hair left on the soap holder in the shower 🤢 They did have a lot of outlets on the lamps, one of the wall outlets was super loose though, and it made me nervous to use it. The beds were about a 6 out of 10. My comforter had stains on it. There was a fridge and I think a microwave. They had breakfast in the morning, which again was just ok. But the price was insanely low.

Overall seams to be clean. Front desk very kind. Bathrooms atrocious! Towels wouldn't be good enough to be rags at most hotels! The shower head had more water leaking out the back than what was coming out of the shower nozzles. I use to stay here quite often and I have told them about this particular issue before. Plenty of time has gone by and it is still the same. All done with staying here

I’m only giving two stars instead of one because the front desk guy who checked us in was very nice and helpful. Be careful Working out in the gym. My husband was doing sit ups and pulled this piece of glass out of the mat he was sitting on. When we checked in very late at night the man at reception was very friendly and helpful. We went to our room. Upon entering it smelled so strongly of cat pee we knew we couldn’t stay in there. I always check the mattresses for bed bugs and when I pulled the sheets back I almost threw up the stains were so bad. Some nice short and curly pube hairs on the top of the comforter as well. Absolutely disgusting, understaffed hotel. In spite of being a “no smoking” hotel, the entire place reeked of cigarettes and weed. There was debris scattered about the halls, leading to a low expectation when we entered our room. We found blood stains, pubic hairs, orange stains, a very clearly untouched bathroom, and a smell in our room of wet dog and weed. There was only one staff member for the entire hotel who was clearly overwhelmed and understaffed for room turnover and guest service. While check in was fine, we immediately left without so much as touching the bed with bare skin.

Positive: Location and Maintenance personnel was very nice and helpful Negative: Pool was consistently unavailable for my kids. My moms hotel room toilet was leaking. My deluxe room, the AC in living area room was not cooling at was over 100 degrees heat index outside. Cleanliness was not there. Dirty floor, fridge, tub, counters, etc
