Firstly, I wish I could give a negative star rating. This hotel and its service were absolutely disgraceful. We booked a room in the middle of the night after our flight was moved up due to a winter storm. Before booking, we specifically asked the agent if we could check in after midnight and were clearly told yes. Based on that assurance, we made the reservation. When we arrived, we were suddenly told we could not check in until 3 PM the next day. At that point, it was the middle of the night, we had a 1-year-old baby, and only our carry-on luggage. We had nowhere else to go. We planned to stay in the lobby and leave by 6:30 AM once places began to open. At 4 AM, the front desk agent told us we had to leave the property entirely. It was the worst experience ever!|Nasty tub, sink that was stopped up, stains on the floor and ceiling and raccoons outside at night that hung around where the elevator was and both myself and my dog were afraid! ||The front desk person thought it was funny so I took picture.||If you’re looking for a high quality and safe place to lay your head, I’d definitely skip this one! |The manager was asked to call and never did, so they also don’t care. I will not EVER stay here again!

Normally, I don’t like to leave bad reviews because I believe you get what you pay for, and if something isn’t great but not the worst thing in the world, I usually just move on. Unfortunately, this was the worst hotel I have stayed at in the United States. I paid $120 for one night, which is not cheap. When I arrived, I received the room key and was told that breakfast would start at 7 a.m. (which I already thought was pretty late, but fine). When I opened the room door, there was a strong smell of mold and wet dog throughout the room. It felt old, dirty, and poorly maintained. We paid almost $400 for one night plus a $100 security deposit. I’ve stayed at plenty of La Quintas before and never had an issue, so I wasn’t expecting luxury — just clean. What we walked into was disgusting. The room looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in months. There was white residue all over the bed skirt. The walls were visibly dirty. The “white” door was black around the handle from grime buildup and the bottom reminded me of a rig shack (filthy). The bottom of the dresser was chewed up and damaged, it looked like rats had used it as their main food source. The shower head was black with mold and the shower was black with dirt and grime. We were given two towels, one had long black hairs in them. Before booking, I specifically asked if there was a hot tub and was told yes
