Customer Reviews
LaPosada is a very nice, comfortable property in a good location. My room was comfortable and had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. A couple of bottles of water. A tasty cookie. Very nice touches. The bathroom was a little small but adequate. The pool/spa area is very nice. I enjoyed my 3 night stay. The only thing that I really found needing upgrade is the breakfast. It really doesn't come close to what the other chain hotels offer. Other than that, I would recommend certainly LaPosada.
We checked in for 3 days, we get to our room, no trash cans, no TV remote, no light bulbs in bed light, I went to desk got light bulbs and they put them in your hand so you can do it yourself, you remind them for the 3rd time you have no trash cans, after you've been checked in for 3 hrs? No shampoo, no soap. Now here we go day 2 still no trash cans. However we got a TV remote after a hr. They offered to move us to another room after we unloaded all our stuff. I said why don't you just go down to the other room and bring back the trash cans and remote, they looked at me dumb founded. What do you expect for hard earned money? You can tell it's under new management, been staying here for years on and off never had a problem untill now. Would not recommend staying here. As for me and my comp
I think i finally found the place I want to go on a regular basis. Very competitive price, but nothing like the cookie cutter hotel rooms from most big chains. There was a lot of very attractive and charming details in the rooms, and the property itself, that made this feel a lot more like a home. Also, breakfast was real food, with lots of selection, and a GORGEOUS view! The on-site restaurant was so characteristic of the southwest style, and looked out over the city, with a best view of the sunrise. 10/10 would recommend!
The room we had was spacious, clean, and came with a balcony. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and taking in the view of the garden and distant hills. Overall, the hotel appeared well-maintained. We enjoyed the jacuzi onsite but didn't go into the pool since the weather was a bit chilly. They offered hearty complimentary hot breakfast starting at 6:30, which was greatly appreciated by early risers.
Clean and spacious rooms. Dated furniture. Mattress was adequate but not firm. Only given one roll of TP and when we also ran out of Kleenex the front desk had none! The breakfast was adequate- very little a GF person could eat.
