Knights Inn Punta Gorda

Ok, I don’t know if the owner is having friends leave these 5 star reviews, but there’s NO way. Our room smelled of mold and stale cigarettes (it was a NON smoking room). Crumbs under the sheets. This photo smells exactly how you think it would, like a chain smoking grandma from the 70’s stayed here half her life. On a good note, I didn’t see any bugs. It’s close to the airport. But that’s it. I couldn’t sleep cus of the god awful smell. Maybe update the place?! Just a suggestion. Edit- I see reviews from 6+ years ago with the same complaints and you just use a generic, computer generated response! Try actually fixing the issues and stop being cheap!

Positive: Very convenient location to the airport, highway and gas stations. The shower was great! The pool was not open during our stay (maybe thats seasonal) but didn't hinder us from having a good experience! Plenty of parking,quiet room. We would stay again! Negative: ""

I am traveling to Miami from SF and stopped by Punta Gorda for the night. Had the best time here from beginning to end. The front desk woman was very friendly and accommodating - she made the check in process go so smoothly. Also the property is decorated beautifully!

The owners were very welcoming. Very clean. The room had a microwave, fridge & coffee. We only stayed one night as we were just passing through but would definitely recommend and stay here again on our next trip!

Excellent stay !!! As an Airbnb owner myself very clean well kept very friendly owners. Well maintained. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay !!! We’ll be back as we are working on some property we bought in the area and plan to stay while in the building process..
