Kittery Inn and Suites

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Kittery Inn and Suites! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Robin, who checked us in, was incredibly friendly and accommodating- such a warm, welcoming start that really set the tone for the whole visit. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day out. The location is a huge bonus too: you’re right near Portsmouth (and much more affordable), great shopping in Kittery, and excellent dining options, including When Pigs Fly, which has fantastic pizza. Overall, this place checks all the boxes- clean, comfortable, well-located, and staffed by genuinely kind people. Highly recommend, and we’d happily stay here again!

I cannot express what a great place this is to stay. We stayed in the premium cabin with two queen beds. It’s fantastic! It was spotless, beds were very comfortable and pillows were great! Free breakfast was included and very good. Loved how quiet it was and the air conditioners were a plus (I like it cooler in my room to sleep). We stayed 3 nights and I slept well. Loved the table and chairs to sit at while eating. We even ordered out and had it delivered. Nice and cozy. I highly recommend this place to stay. We will stay again when we are town.

Positive: staff was friendly & offered good suggestions for dining. Room was comfortable & spotless. Well worth $$ spent. The breakfast with plenty of variety eggs, meat, fresh fruit, variety of breads, yogurt, cereal & great coffee. Good choice! Negative: Our location was close to highway & road noise bothersome. Over all Exceeded our expectations for the money spent.

Kittery Inn and Suites was the perfect stay for a weekend in Portsmouth, NH with my girlfriend. It made our trip feel smarter and more relaxed. We wanted to spend most of our time across the bridge in Portsmouth, but staying there would have cost at least triple what we paid in Kittery. Landing here felt like more of a travel hack than a compromise. The property has that cozy, roadside inn vibe with modern amenities. Our room was clean and quiet, and our stay felt like a retreat, not a tasteless, generic chain stay. Oh, and the breakfast is excellent. It’s an elevated buffet-style spread with some of the best French toast and coffee cake I’ve had. My honest opinion is that I was expecting a cabin and felt like I was in a closet. The office closes at 8 and the vending machines were low on stock and the drinks weren't working. I was so thirsty. The "breakfast" they have is not great either. They definitely don't put much effort in caring for their customers well being. I'm never going there again.
