Coachman Inn

Austin was super friendly, extremely helpful, and accommodating for my current situation. This place had the lowest rate for someone looking for somewhere to sleep in a pinch. I decided to stay 2 nights and he gave me a reasonable price that I could afford. So far, it's pretty quiet, thankfully, as I forgot to bring a fan or sound machine for sleep. It is a little chilly in my room and could have been cleaned a lot better but all n all it's a comfortable place to stay. There's shopping centers, the Kittery outlets and Trading post right down the road.

We’ve stayed at the Coachman Inn many times over the past 10 years. It’s always been a great place, reasonably priced - especially since we have small dogs. ||However, this current stay has really been subpar. The room is dirty. MOLD in the bathroom/shower. Furniture is very, very worn. Honestly it’s rather gross.||The dog area had always been well maintained. Now it looks very unkept.||The staff, however, are very, very friendly. ||We are so disappointed in the deterioration of the accommodations that we will not return, even after all these years.

Positive: The fact I can drive up to my room door was extremely helpful. I didn't have a dog with me but there was a nice dog walking path. Pool was enjoyable. Staffed 24/7. 11am check out time later than a lot of other hotels and much appreciated. Negative: The cleanliness was a bit sub par. Nothing to really complain about, but they may want to work on that.

Spent last night at this location. Upon check in we had to wait for someone else to check us in cause the one at the desk was busy on his phone, at least that is the way it seemed and felt. When the other gentleman had shown up he was friendly and fast. Our room had a funky smell but wasn't horrible. The bathroom has only half of its lights working, a heater, but no working fan, it was clean but had worn down look, and the hot water doesn't last long. So if there are two of you needing a shower one of you are waiting a bit. The room was average size for a one bed room. The bed wasn't to bad, its getting to the point of needing replacement, you can feel a few springs. The desk space was a joke, I had to move the coffee pot to a different area to use the desk and the office chair is broken,

What most impressed me was the young man at the front desk. So kind,friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered 3 rooms and got exactly what we asked for. Beds were comfy. A little aged but clean and affordable.
