Kingsail Resort

The property was older but very clean! Our room was in the back right next to the deck and water. Had a great cabana with seating and tables. Very quiet except for the roosters in the am and Huey choppers refueling within a mile. That just added charm along with the manatee and her young coming up to the dock. Clean room was very spacious.

“Resort” might be a bit of a stretch, but this is a cute little complex of bungalow-style units with comfortable rooms. The decor is a little dated (though not run down), and while everything was clean enough, it wasn’t spotless. Our unit had a screened-in porch, which we really enjoyed, even though it overlooked the parking lot. It was still a nice place to sit in the evenings. Although other reviews mentioned the great location, we didn’t love that it’s right next to the local air strip. The first flight was at 6 a.m., though honestly, the rooster will probably wake you up anyway. But oddly, I didn’t mind that. If you’re in the bottom unit of one of the two-story buildings, be aware that you’ll hear every single step taken by the guests above you. We were lucky to have a quiet adult co

Idk how there is any bad reviews about this place honestly. It was the cheapest hotel I found at the time and it really surpassed our expectations. Our room had a screened in porch I didn’t even know we were gonna get which was great ! The landscaping was phenomenal and well kept. All nice rock beds with not even a single weed popping out anywhere. Nice trimmed palm trees. The bathrooms were a little out dated but well maintained. Beds were comfy, free coffee by the dock and pool was some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. This is also the perfect location. Was able to experience the entire keys during my 3 days here staying here every night. Very close to 7 mile bridge. I will definitely be back ! Thank you to the friendly staff as well !

It was a good value for this area. Very clean, staff very nice. Will stay there again next time we are in the area.

Mistakenly booked the wrong days. Although the front desk ladies were sympathetic, and actually gave us the names of other hotels. Management had a whole week to be able to fill the room, during peak season, but immediately denied the refund. Dont not recommend. I could "maybe" understand not refunding, IF they would not have been able to rebook in that weeks time.
