Aqua Lodges at Coconut Cay Rv and Marina

Just got home from a very nice stay at the AquaLodge.Stayed for 1 week.Rented their boat for a great fishing day near the 7 mile Bridge.Our lodge was clean,plenty of towels,enough kitchen wares to cook with if we wanted too.Upon arrival,Jim explained about everything and answered any questions we had.There was plenty of room for the 3 of us and we loved sitting out on the back deck. They have washers and dryers,grills,picnic tables a warm pool,and bikes available.Friendly people in the office.We will definitely go back.Thanku Jim and Robin for your hospitality. This is different than a typical rental. You actually stay on a house boat.you have the whole house boat to yourself. You never leave the dock. It stays docked. It's kind of neat. Right now there are 30 mph winds. There is a gentle rocking. It's kind of soothing. Price is very affordable.

I recently completed an 8 day stay at the Aqua Lodge. If I were to rate it on cleanliness and quick response to maintenance issues I would have been able to give it a 5 star rating, but unfortunately after staying here I realize that's only a small part of the picture. Here is my honest review of what I experienced. First, before reserving for 7 nights, I watched a video on youtube which emphasized how wonderful it is to eat on the back deck, and how peaceful it is. Well, no-not really. They failed to mention that the lodges are packed liked sardines one right next to the other ( I could have easily reached over to the lodges on either side of mine). During our 7 night stay we had 6 different groups of people coming and going on either side of us-and unfortunately most of them were inconsi

The houseboat lacked proper boarding access, requiring guests to jump from the dock with risk of falling into the water. This created a serious safety hazard, especially for elderly or mobility-impaired guests. My mother needed assistance from four strangers to board safely. Despite reporting this to the office, we received no response for 24 hours and no safety accommodations were provided. The misleading photos and descriptions, combined with poor customer service, completely ruined our trip experience.

4 days stay prepaid only could stand it for 3 days. Here are some photos of the conditions that I have found. First of all very dangerous to get in and out of this place on a blind corner coming in either direction. There is also a dump truck company across the street. The aqua Lodge was clean but very tiny even with only two people it was hard moving around in the bedroom areas. Couch was hard as a rock. The bathroom sink was plugged up. You have to get use to the marine style toilet with the foot lever and use very little water. The decking and picnic tables were all splintered and weathered wood, so shoes are a must. and yes they do have kayaks and bikes there for you to use. The only issue is your break your neck trying to launch a kayak as you will see in the pictures. No sloped ramp
