King & I Guest House LLC

I lived there for quite a few years, had my own apartment. The original landlord passed away, Eva. She was very nice. Her mother took over after Eva's passing. Her and her significant other were grumpy, intrusive, uncaring and devious. The parking is horrible, no spots for tenants on the street and a small driveway to fit 1 or 2 small cars. The tourists are horrible, loud and obnoxious. Don't stay here for a night and definitely don't live here. The horrible atmosphere is not worth the price of being so close to the beach. Baseboard heat was awful in the winter. 👎👎👎

Wow! I must say that I have never been treated in a more disrespectful manner than at the King and I guest house...and I didn't even make it! My fiancee and I planned a trip to Pt Pleasant...we couldn't make it and cancelled a month ahead of time due to a family emergency. Eva, the owner, made up a cancellation policy AFTER we cancelled...and charged THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE STAY to our card. This is in the neighborhood of hundreds of dollars. We have been trying for 6 months to get our money back, but she has become a nightmare of a person. We called over a month before the stay, but, she feels that she is entitled to this money as there are people banging the door down to make a reservation. I haven't seen the property, nor can I vouch for the quality of the stay...I can say that t

stay there 1 month. owner is nice lady, but her husband is very aggressive, rude person who very like to come into your room when you are not in!!!||old furniture, rules of the house make you fill yourself as in cage. ||for the price they ask for the experience of staying there must be much better...!!!

Building is very old. (You can see the degree how flor go down) Owner, cheating with price, telling that all rooms are booked and he can provide only one with super hight price! (When you stay there you can see that all rooms are free) After I order it, he become aggressive, can screen on you if he dislike something. Often I see, that he was in my room when I was go out, what he is doing there I don’t know. But it’s make my monthly staying there very stressful. I don’t recommend this place to anybody!
