Amazing location, the staff were incredibly kind and considerate, rooftop pool was amazing - had dj and great food/ drinks. Not a huge hotel so easy to get around quickly. Lovely place to do yoga in am and unlimited bottle water in gym - 1 block from beach - would definitely go back and recommend to other

Great stay at the Kimpton Shorebreak. Located in quiet part of Fort Lauderdale this hotel is not super close to lively area but certainly walkable. We really enjoyed how dog friendly the property is. I was really delighted that my dog was allowed up on the rooftop pool area(not in the pool of course). The rooftop has great views and good spot to catch some sun. There is food available and the TVs had sports on. They had a Dj during the weekend until 7pm. It’s really popular amenity so chairs can be tough to get. The room was ok but found the bathroom totally lacking counter space. We used the complimentary bikes for a ride which were pretty standard (need an app and 2 hours were covered. $10 per hour otherwise). They had a small basket. We had an amazing weekend stay at Kimpton Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale Beach! This place truly feels like a hidden gem in the area. We had initially booked the Westin, but after reading reviews on TripAdvisor, we decided to switch to Shorebreak — and we’re so glad we did! The location is perfect, just steps from the beach, and they even provide a beach bag with towels, which was such a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the staff was very helpful in guiding us on what to try. A special thank you to Prakash for assisting us during breakfast — such warm hospitality! Also, a big shoutout to the wonderful front desk team — John, Iris, and Karem — who were incredibly kind and always ready to help. We loved our stay here! The vibes are 10/10 and give off “coastal boutique”. We lucked out with a corner room, so there were no guests on either side of us. Our favorite part had to be the bikes, which we ended up using every day to get around to different spots in Fort Lauderdale. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well styled. They also provide complimentary wine each day, which we enjoyed by the pool before dinner. Prime location less than half a mile from the beach! My only complaint would be the lack of storage and counter space in the rooms, which made it a bit difficult for getting ready as well as keeping your things organized. The rooms also do not have smart TVs for Netflix/Hulu which caused us to watch a show on a phone to end our evenings, which was not ideal

We spent only a couple days ahead of a cruise but we enjoyed it. Cute retro mid century style with quirky Kimpton-flavor decor. The front desk staff is A+++ and kudos to them for taking care of some room issues at check in. Bartending was awesome on the rooftop at the pool. Note we could have used a hand with our bags at the front door (while someone was there, we’re not sure if he was a porter, but regardless help with the door would have been appreciated). This is not a big W or Hilton type property though. Free Coffee bar in the AM was clutch. Food at the restaurant was great. Unique spaces across the property. Perfect for couples. A bit pricey in my opinion but the rooftop pool was great. Note $40 resort fee. We are looking to come back so all in all, good experience I would say.
