Kihei Akahi

Located directly across the street from the beach is this beautiful place. The room I had was a studio kind of apartment but was very spacious. The people in the office were very nice and I appreciated all of the information they gave me as a first time visitor. If they had a gym, this place would be 10 out of 10. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great place to stay! Condos are owned/rented by different people so everyone’s room experience wouldn’t be similar. But the grounds were beautiful and well kept. Didn’t have much dealings with staff other than front desk and she was nice and helpful. The pool was clean though on the small side, and the “rules” were a bit much… I’ve never seen toys and Marco Polo not allowed anywhere else. I didn’t see the second one. There are nice grills for tenant use. There’s a nice, small, family friendly beach across the street. The place is within walking distance of pretty much all of Kihei. Only complaint really is the parking. We weren’t all that close to our room without having to walk through the garden, the lot is dimly lit, and the numbered spots are hard to see. We stayed in C110 through Sun

We rented a unit which had been recently renovated and there no reviews. We may have been the first folks to rent since the renovation.. The unit is ideally located with a beach (Kam 2) just down the street! With many other beaches in close proximity. We rented a car and were able to get everywhere from Akahi! The property managers were responsive and helpful throughout our 1 week stay.

Very nice clean grounds with two pools. Our unit was very clean as well as the buildings hallways. Love watching the whales and listening to the birds from our lanai. Quiet and peaceful considering the busy location on S Kihei Rd. Just walk across the street to Kam 2 beach and nearby restaurants and gift shops!

Nice place. Bed was comfy, room was nice and neat. Full kitchen. Had extra sheets and towels and pots and pans, utensils, etc. The TV had a ton of TV channels which was a plus. Even has a washer and dryer in the unit. Plus grills by the pool for everyone to use. My only complaint was the parking spots you are assigned you can't see on the pavement in the dark, maybe need more lighting in the parking lot. And the crotchety old woman at the lower pool that is there during the day with all her retiree friends don't let the kids have fun in the pool. Most are nice, but watch out for the couple of them. Many families come here to stay, and I'm sure she and her friends run a lot of people away. The pool is for everyone, including kids. The rules are no toys or floats in the pool and no splashin
