Stayed at 4573 Parkside Villas, grounds are beautiful, all employees nice and friendly, took sunset cruise with Captain Bradley, he was great, took fishing trip with Captain Shawn, he was great also, accommodations were the problem, coffee pot was disgusting, complained and they brought us a new one, shower door was nasty, we cleaned ourselves, before and after pics shown, went to get new roll of paper towels under kitchen sink and they were soaking wet, sink leaks, had to wrap bath cloth around shower piping, water spraying everywhere, laundry and utility areas dirty, bath lavatory cabinet bottom falling out, hot and cold faucets reversed at bath lavatory, rugs old and dirty, screened in porch door screen falling off, found a few dead roaches, needed a little better cleaning and an overall
Dates of stay September 7 - September 14, 2025 Let me begin by praising the wonderful staff of the resort. At every turn - front office, activities, restaurant servers, maintenance and housekeeping - they were unfailingly warm, polite, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Special mention must go to Rosemary Linn in Villa Registration, who overwhelmed us with good advice and thoughtful little touches even before we arrived; and to Luke Williams, tennis center manager, who worked overtime to make sure our time at the courts was pleasant and memorable. Shouts out also to the tennis and pickleball staff - David, Langdon, Jasper, Mike and Barry - who maintained their good humor despite having to put up with me on the court for three hours every day for five days. The food at the numerous onsite
We rented a Villa at Kiawah Island Resort for one week (we are still here). The experience with the Villa could not be worse. At the Villa Check In everything went well. Also our package included daily housekeeping - but the Villa denied this service until I forwarded the confirmation email confirming that we would have daily housekeeping. It worked well for 3 days but the crew changed at the Villa Check In, and the new employees did not have any information about the daily housekeeping and did not provided that. I went to the check in once more, they were supposed to call housekeeping but again nobody showed up. I call again and they sa
Kiawah has access to incredible amenities - One of the best beaches on the Carolina Coast, miles of bicycle trails, beautiful scenery, and wonderful sport amenities - golf and tennis. We were very excited about this trip, but it fell very much short. I am leaving three stars for the wildlife, scenery, and my prior love for this place - I have known Kiawah and Seabrook well since the early 1990's. The lodgings, dining, workout facility would earn a one star. These are all fixable, and I hope that Kiawah will pay attention to reviews like this. This was a long weekend family getaway for a conference. The conference facilities were updated and quite nice. This is a big upgrade for the island and hopefully a segue into trying to attract professional conferences. The lodgings were well below
